The Hilton Long Beach Hotel offers convenient access to the cruise port with complimentary shuttle service, providing a comfortable and clean stay. While many reviews highlight friendly staff and a convenient location, some guests have experienced issues with noise, slow service, and parking availability. Overall, it’s a solid option for travelers, especially those cruising.

We stayed at the Hilton Long Beach Hotel for a one night stay a few months ago. We were cruising the next day, so this hotel was a very convenient location. The hotel was only a few minutes away from the cruise port with free shuttles to and from the port. I mainly chose the hotel because they had a free park and cruise deal with atleast a one nights stay. This definitely was cheaper than parking at the cruise port. The hotel itself was very clean and staff were very professional. They had complimentary game areas and a restaurant inside the lobby area. They do not have complimentary breakfast at this hotel. Overall, it was a great stay and we had such a beautiful view from our room of the long beach port. Definitely recommend.

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had, and I am extremely disappointed with Hilton Long Beach. When I arrived, I was made to wait in the lobby for about an hour, despite having already been told when my room would be ready. After finally checking into Room 1305, I immediately encountered extremely loud and continuous noise. The room was completely unsuitable for resting or working. I called the front desk and requested a room change. A technician came to inspect the issue, but nobody followed up afterward. I was then told the noise was caused by cleaning upstairs and would stop within 25 minutes. I waited another hour and a half, but the noise continued. I called the front desk repeatedly. Staff kept giving me different explanations and telling me to wait. One employee apologized and promised to investigate, but I never heard back. Even worse, a female front desk employee repeatedly hung up on me while I was trying to get help. I had to make countless calls before the hotel finally agreed to move me. The replacement room was exactly the same room type—not an upgrade or a special accommodation. This makes the entire situation even more frustrating. If an equivalent room was available, why was I forced to endure hours of noise, repeated calls, and emotional distress instead of being moved immediately? I had important work to complete and needed a quiet environment. By the end of this ordeal, I had a severe headache, cried multiple times on the phone, and felt completely overwhelmed. Nobody took responsibility, showed meaningful concern, or treated the situation with urgency. This was not simply a noisy room. It was a complete service failure involving a delayed check-in, broken promises, no follow-up, repeated dismissal of my concerns, and an employee hanging up on a distressed guest. I expect Hilton to investigate what happened, review the front desk call records, and provide appropriate compensation. A generic apology or a few points would not be an adequate response.

The Hilton in Long Beach is a fantastic place to stay, offering both comfort and convenience in a great location. The hotel has a modern, welcoming atmosphere, and the lobby is spacious and well-maintained. It’s just a short walk from the waterfront and close to many local attractions, making it perfect for both business and leisure travelers. The staff was friendly, professional, and always ready to help with anything I needed. Check-in was smooth, and the service throughout my stay was excellent. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, with a great view of the city. The amenities, including the fitness center and on-site dining options, added to the overall experience. Whether you’re visiting Long Beach for work or a relaxing getaway, the Hilton provides a reliable and enjoyable stay. I would definitely return and recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient hotel in the area.

Stayed for a quick 2 day work trip. Greeted upon arrival..very quick and efficient service. Love the Happy Hour vibe! The shuttle service-she gave me her card. Alex C. was so courteous and helpful and guided me to where I wanted to go. The food at the restaurant was delicious. I use the gym and went poolside to chill for a bit. 5 Star all around.

This Hotel was an awesome experience! We stayed 4 nights and it was a dream, any time we left the hotel whenever we got back our room was clean and everything restocked. We left personal belongings in the room everything was always just as we left it when we returned. The staff was friendly and attentive even when we had a question at almost 11pm they were able to help us out. If there was one thing that could be improved it would be informing guests that if they return later in the evening and the parking under hotel is full what to do and where to go to park.

Stayed for 1 night prior to a cruise, during the Grand Prix. Staff was welcoming and got us checked in quickly. The room was clean and spacious, however the bathroom could use a remodel and refresh. The pool area was nice with a poolside bartender. The location is very convenient to both the port and anything downtown. Self parking is in a garage under the hotel and parking is very tight. A truck or large SUV may have trouble parking. Overall, a great Long Beach hotel!

The room was mediocre with mold and dirt in the grout on the floor and tub. The water was barely warmer than Luke. The view from our room was good of the pool and port. The staff was friendly. There was a lack of help at the restaurant and the food was OK. But the workers were nice and helpful enough.

This place is old and confusing. The entrance has no automatic doors, which makes it difficult right from the start to get into the hotel towing luggage. Then, after an inexplicable and annoying short staircase, you enter a lobby that has no comfortable seats in the waiting areas, poor signage to lead you to an ill-equipped and cramped fitness room, and not even complimentary coffee included in the overpriced room rate. The rooms themselves are basic and dated. Outlets for charging devices are few and hard to reach. The whole property needs a renovation, and nowhere is this more apparently obvious than in the bathrooms, to which ours included a cracked sink and loose toilet paper holders. The front desk could not give a clear picture of whether our room included breakfast, which in and of itself was perplexing that the 200 / night room rate would dare exclude even a basic continental breakfast. The shuttle situation was also suboptimal. It was never clear when the shuttle was available, and no queue was established for the first-come-first-serve system. Routinely, the pick-up / drop-off area would be blocked by numerous cars, and the valets never seemed motivated to keep the area clear. We were here only one night, and that was plenty. This place needs to be razed and a modern or renovated replacement constructed.

I am now a Hilton stan. They were 100% booked and swamped because of back to back conferences. But the customer service and attention I received made it feel like the entire hotel was going above and beyond every time. Free water bottles, fantastic valet, and feee shuttle to the convention center was just the start. Their text support is a Millennial and Gen Z dream come true. Introverts rejoice! Shoutout to Esmeralda, Kianna, Lawrence, Janelle, Sidney, Rod, and Maria. Not to forget the front desk staff who kept the place running during the day and night. Note: $40 valet parking or $35 self parking per night. Not bad for downtown Long Beach and less than mile from the convention center and waterfront.

I had a wonderful experience staying at Hilton Long Beach and wanted to recognize the amazing team that made the stay so positive. From the moment you walk into the lobby, you can feel the welcoming atmosphere. The hotel is clean, well maintained, and the rooms are comfortable, with clear attention to detail throughout the property. A special thank you to Jeanelle, Andy, Camila, and Stacy (Guest Services Manager) for their professionalism, kindness, and attentiveness. The housekeeping team, along with the staff around the entrance and car services, also do a great job keeping everything running smoothly. What stood out most was how quickly the team responds if anything is needed. Any questions or concerns are handled right away with genuine care. If you’re visiting Long Beach and looking for a place that is clean, welcoming, and supported by a team that truly cares about their guests, this hotel is definitely worth checking out
