Guests consistently praise the spacious, well-maintained rooms and the Marriott-branded quality service. However, recent reviews indicate significant operational issues including a hostile owner and hygiene failures that contradict brand standards.
Great location and clean rooms! We left some medication in the refrigerator and boarded our cruise boat. The front desk staff was amazing. They went to the room and got the medication to hand off to an Uber courier.... The best customer service ever ?
Not the best location but I felt safe. The concierge staff were friendly. Great breakfast. Nice spacious rooms and clean rooms (compared to Hilton Suites, these rooms are superior). The only downside was that the pool is super small and is often packed with crazy teenagers at all hours of the day so I couldn’t enjoy a relaxing swim, but that didn’t hinder my stay too much. I liked this little suite. I also had a very cute cat neighbor!
Nice large rooms, but can hear 2 nd floor guests just walking around. Good breakfast. Parking near your room can be tough if you come late at night
I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel this needs to be shared. My experience at this hotel was extremely underwhelming and frustrating. From the moment I arrived, things felt disorganized. The front desk staff seemed indifferent and didn’t offer much help or warmth. The room was not properly cleaned — there were stains on the bedding and hair in the bathroom, which was very off-putting. To make things worse: • The AC didn’t work, and the room was stuffy the entire time. • Wi-Fi was unreliable, which made it difficult for me to work or stay connected. • Noise from other rooms and the hallway kept me up most of the night. I tried bringing up my concerns, but staff brushed it off and offered no real solutions. For the price I paid, I expected much better service and cleanliness. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning and can’t recommend this hotel to anyone.
The owner who whoever she is to think she’s in charge is very rude and can get physical if there’s something she doesn’t like. Also, allowing ice to stay the night although she sees how hard everyone is working to not keep them around? Don’t recommend booking here.
"Never again. If you're thinking 'it's a Marriott, how bad could it be?' — think again." Checked in late after a long day of travel expecting at least the basics: a clean room, a working shower, and maybe even the "hospitality" Marriott claims to be known for. Instead: The room smelled like someone microwaved fish and then tried to cover it with Febreze. The shower knob spun in circles like a wheel of fortune — except every option was 'lukewarm drizzle.' Housekeeping must've been on strike or sleep mode because there were someone else's toenail clippings on the carpet. Yes. Toenails. I asked for a quiet room — they put me directly above the loading dock. I now know the sound of a dumpster being slammed at 5:12 AM. I brought this up to the front desk and was met with the customer service equivalent of a shrug. No apology, no room switch, not even a comped coffee. I've stayed in roadside motels with more attention to detail and fewer toenails. Do better, Marriott.
The rooms? Filthy. I’m talking moldy corners, mysterious stains on the walls, and the kind of smell that makes you question your life choices. Roaches. So many that I started naming them. Barry, the one by the sink, was my emotional support. The receptionist? Rude with a capital R. She acted like me checking in was ruining her day. Eye rolls, attitude, and zero help when I asked about the A/C that sounded like it was about to explode. And don’t get me started on the noise. I’m not sure if someone was moving furniture at 3am or if it was just the building falling apart. Either way, do yourself a favor and sleep in your car. It’s cleaner, quieter, and comes with less trauma.
Great location, clean updated rooms and excellent service. Breakfast buffet isn't the greatest, but it's not bad. I stayed here 278 days in 2024, so I'd say that it's a great hotel
No laundry facilities working. No Jacuzzi hot water. About a month now. Also my first review was changed by yelp . Update 12/30/24. Plumbing backing up.
Actually truly a hidden gem next to the airport. A little busier than most residence inns I've stayed at but definitely a great pick and will stay here again!
